Don’t Miss This Campaign #sharenohate

#sharenohate

NaBloPoMo November 2015

Over the course of my life, I’ve learned that it’s a good rule of thumb for me to pay attention to those times when I choke up, get goose bumps, or get butterflies in my stomach.

It normally means that whatever I’m watching, reading or hearing is something I need to slow down and make note of.

A close friend of mine brought the below video to my attention, and I wanted to bring it to yours, with the hope that you will share it as well.

The message behind it is so simple, yet so powerful.

Share no hate.

I’m guessing that you, like most everyone, are starting to become fatigued by all of the ways with which we put one another down, or outright hate on one another, because everyone doesn’t think or believe the same things.

Here on the blog, I’m always looking for things that I can share that I hope will enlighten us all just a little; things that will help us to compare ourselves and one another less and support each other more.

One of the best ways for us to start loving ourselves and others more, is by agreeing that we’re all so beautifully different, and perfectly flawed. To realize that what we have are labels, opinions, beliefs, thoughts, circumstances, life events, environments, opportunities and geographies that have shaped what and who we are.

I’m not going say any more because I don’t want to spoil it for you, so I want you to go ahead and watch this video to see what you think about Stacie’s perspective. I’d love to hear your comments.
