I’m looking for your help, Dear Reader!

As many of you know, I started Mrs. Jones Could Use a Beer because I wanted to create a place where we can be our perfectly imperfect selves. Where we can admit to our flaws and faults and the beautiful mess that is being human, and quit keeping up with Mrs. Jones.

I’ve also written Dear Grace, I hope you don’t get your period in gym class, because I wanted to open up a dialogue between mothers and daughters who may not know exactly how to start talking about some tough topics (like boys, puberty, making bad choices), while simultaneously expressing to our daughters that we really have been through what they are going through, and that we weren’t perfect, and still aren’t perfect, and that we’re all totally amazing anyway!

I feel so strongly about sharing this message of giving up our pursuit of perfection in order to surrender to the joy of REAL life that looks nothing like the pages of glossy magazines and Pottery Barn (no hate for PB, I love that place, but you get what I’m sayin’…).

THIS IS WHY I NEED YOUR HELP….

I want to continue growing Mrs. Jones Could Use a Beer and providing great content to my readers. In order to do that, I need to improve my visibility, and in order to do that, I need to grow my platform, and in order to do THAT, I need to grow my email list…

So.

I have been taking some classes on HOW to grow my email list.

In a webinar I took this afternoon, we were challenged as a class to improve our email list by over 100 subscribers, in order to win a trip to Nashville (which is very exciting because I already live in Nashville…but anyway), and more importantly, to spend the day with some amazing business coaches learning how to grow our businesses.

Y’all, I want this coaching so badly! I know that I’ve got a great message, and I really want to get it out there!

I would sincerely appreciate your help! If you sign up on my email list (in the top of the left hand column of this page) before 3:00 CST tomorrow, September 23rd, I have a shot at winning this contest. You’ll also receive a free copy of my eBook, Eating Kale Feels Like I Hate Myself.

Please comment or shoot me an email if you have any questions.

Thank you so much!!! I’ll be back with an update on how I did!
